Is the Industrial pump the one in the valley that has been on the truck before the dual fuelers? Was it bouncing before you installed the dual fuelers?

No it's the one on top. I bought this kit from a member and he sent the wrong pump (no big deal) and the stock pump is on it's way. But won't get here until after the diesel races this weekend.

Swapped the pump, and it helped with the issue. I'm more happy having a brand new stock one anyway (peace of mind). Just logged the truck and hope to get it sorted out by tomorrow for the races. You can feel it when WOT (truck surges almost)

I'm going to bump this. Mark and I have been battling rail bounce on my truck ever since I installed dual pumps, both are stock pumps. I've got multiple logs mine doesn't seem to be dropping way down you can just see the graph looks like the Rocky mountains ! Ready to sell the pumps and get a striker at this point. Any pointers? I have the ppe kit with ppe controller but I also have a fingers controller I haven't tried yet

Mine was doing the same thing, regulator tuning helped some, but now I just dd in a small tune and have the race tunes set to go max rail. The small tune holds rail great and doesn't surge at all, if I try and run a bigger tune with the rail at under 180mpa it will surge. I have a fingers controller and stock pumps.

I am sure that some live tuning would get it sorted.

Yea, ive done most of my data logging on my #3 tune which is what I have DD on for a long time now, I wont really touch 5 with the 100s since its "somewhat safe" per Mark :D we've been fighting it for awhile now im not sure how powerful tune 3 is but it will put you in the seat after it gets done bouncing the rail and sputtering etc

Mine did it at first as well...

The issue to mine was to slow the fca s down from opening to fast...

Its a tough battle because i hate romping on the truck to log the issue as well! Contemplating if i should try the other controller just for giggles, I dont understand why it isnt a piggy back system where the ecm just tells both to do the same thing

Haha I heard that. Test hits on the street get interesting quickly with my truck.

It can be fixed with tuning, basically the LBZ/LMM ecm's work very fast and see the high rail pressure and then it cuts it back and then sees the low rail pressure and ramps it up and gets into a bounce issue. I'll be glad to help Mark with the issue if he'd like.

Here's a post I made a while ago about how I fix that problem: http://www.duramaxdiesels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51022
