How much horsepower can this 66mm ihi support? What are people usually for fueling methods? Can you run stock sticks and dual fueler? Or what size over injected and lbz cp3?

Give David a call he will answer all your questions about them and I think he has a new 66 ihi coming out soon as well.

Not a problem man have actually spoke with David here recently. Really cool guy tons of knowledge. Just looking for some feedback from everyone. What's your setup with your 66mm? As far a fueling, how far do you plan to push it?

Tonys tuning is very snappy IMO i feel verry little lag i guess it would depend on your set up tho.

While I was home on leave I test drove a LB7 dually from the DTS shop with one of the upgraded turbos on it and that thing will bring the mail to say the least. It spooled a good bit faster than my billet 4094 on my LMM. It was stock fuel all the way around, with good response and felt like all the power you would need. It was setup as a tow rig for hauling trucks to the track, and it has done well for them so I think your towing concerns would be answered with one of their turbos. David and DTS produce some good products, solid guy and will shoot you straight.

If you've got facebook check out Midwest Duramax Diesels. Andrew Karker is one of the head guys on there. He's running an RCD 64mm with 60 overs and an exergy stroker pump. On a dyno near me he put down 770 hp and on duramax tuners he put down just north of 700. He's doing all of this on a stock bottom end. That's some big numbers for a small turbo. He actually just opened his own shop and could maybe get you the hook up.

Well did some digging around on YouTube, found this video of a 01-02 GMC with DTS's 64mm IHI. Made the numbers I wanted. But I noticed the gear changing while dynoing? Is that not the correct way of dynoing the truck? I'm not expert but dont you have to lock 01-02s in 4th gear? Maybe I'm wrong

I have the injectors from this truck. With a lbz pump i made 599.7hp locked 4th gear on ddp's dyno.

David has been trying several new wheel designs and configurations. That's why I suggested to just call him and ask him about what you should get. He shares his findings with me but it is not my place to post them in threads like these. Personally, I would ask specifically about his new 66mm design:thumb:
