Dtc p1271+p1273

Just wondering if anyone else has had a issue with these codes coming up? The truck doesn't seem to have any issues from it but whenever I check for codes they are there.

Didn't want to bump a 3 year old thread but I got the two you listed as well as a p1283. No check engine light just stored codes I noticed after having to reset a 5th gear limp. They will not clear either.

Did you ever figure this out?

Sorry I can't be of any help. The truck threw the codes a few more times and then they never came back.

Does it have have a lockup box from ben on the truck?

I've noticed the same codes stored with no light and I do have one of Ben's boxes. Also, I didn't ever see them before the box install.

Bens box will throw 2 ghost codes for throttle position. I want to say they are different than the ones posted but...p2140, p2138 I believe are the codes.

If the truck does have a lock box, I would contact ben and see if those 2 codes are a possibility.

Mine also throws the "ghost codes" I haven't noticed any problems to speak of.

Ben says they have zero affect and are to be ignored. I've had my box on for over a year and have never had a single issue.

All 3 are TPS codes so nvm its the box.
