How hard is it to load tuned into it? This is about my last question before I decide to buy it...

Thanks!

You just load a tune into your ECM like normal. But the tune is setup for 5 positions.

When you hook up the switch it will control each tune programmed into your ECM, as long as its a DSP5 tune.

The switch has 2 pins that get inserted into the ECM harness that lets it " control" the computer .

Now im def. a newbie so my description isnt the best, But ive installed 3 of them, thanks to Dustins Help ( othrgrl) .:coolspot:

just do a full flash rather than a partial flash, once its in, you can make tuning changes to the dsp5 tune and just do partial flashes.

You will like it for sure. It's not hard to do and you will see that some of the modern electronics are not as bad people think they may be to work with.

So when you open the "Tune" in EFI, how do you know what tune your working on? Or does it givce you a folder with the tunes in it? Just trying to mentaly see how it works:eek:.

When you open the tune if it is a DSP2 or DSP5 tune there will be a "+" by EFI Live Custom Calibrations. When you open that area up there are seperate folders for the additional tunes.
