I have not logged my voltage yet but i just installed the dsp on my newer lbz the switch is from rob and is of better quality than i have had in the past.

My issue is when installing i somehow managed to loose the dang washer with the tab on it that limits the number of positions. I we t abead and wired it up and through my dsp tuning back in it seems like my 1 tune is the big mcrat tune and i really cant figure out what the rest are.

It should be
1. Stock
2. Tow
3. Big tow
4. 125 tune
5. Mcrat wendy tune

Will the washer being in have some kind of influence over the tuning locations??? If so how is that so? I see the washer limits the switches movement but other than that it just a metal washer on a plastic switch with detents.

Any help would be great thanks in advance

I had the same problem happen to me. I hated not knowing what position I was in. I got another washer and that fixed it. Hopefully you can get one too, quick.
I was able to use a ohm meter and find my big tune in the meantime.

The washer just limits the number of switch locations. It's possible you got a reverse style switch. I've seen quite a few of them. Where the switch I normally use is #1 all the way to the left these were #5 all the way to the left.

X2, some are reverse style and really messes with people.
If you can, I'd check the ohms at the 2 terminals.

Factory Map(25K ohms) - 4.5V
Tune #1 (5.6K ohms) - 3.5V
Tune #2 (2.2K ohms) - 2.5V
Tune #3 (1.0K ohms) - 1.5V
Tune #4 (270R ohms) - 0.5V

I specifically use reverse order switches, in fact many, many years ago I asked SoCal to make them for me in the reverse order.

The reason this is done is because I prefer the largest tune to be in the NON-DSP position and all other smaller tunes and or valet tunes to be in the DSP1-DSP4 positions.

This way if your switch has a failure, etc you are not stuck in either a valet or reduce power or stock tune if that is the NON-DSP tune

You can identify a normal NON-DSP, DSP1, DSP2, DSP3, DSP4 order SoCal Switch by the white or clear zip tie on the circuit board holding the wires to the back of the board.

A reverse order, RRDP/SOCAL DSP5 switch has a Black Zip Tie and switches from DSP4, DSP3, DSP2, DSP1, NON-DSP
