What If you have a switch on the fly programmer and EFI Live cant you load ur tunes onto that programmer by putting them in your truck then overwriting w/ Efi? Then you could have your tunes and switch on the fly?
I don't know Kat the tune I got form you guys is badass but I will never tow with it... Well actually I towed a small load with it about 9K but I was so scared on the hills to downshift I would be at like 40MPH I am definately waiting for the live switching via the V2
I drive, race and tow all with the same tune. It's not a hot race tune, It's what Rob calls his hot street tune, and will push my 07 classic at 12.6, 107 very consistently. Long highway drives will get 21+ and stop and go around 17. All driving average is 19+. I tow my travel trailer, (8500 lbs) and I get 13+ towing. I don't tow all that fast, normally around 65 or so. I use manual and watch the egt's and just downshift if they start to get above 1200 degrees on steep grades, works great. I do have twin turbos which helps alot.
Why not just make your DD tune have the turbo brake feature?same here, my race tune is the DD tune! Its too much fun, gets 20 mpg . Its all in the driver.
Tows fine too, but i would love to be able to quickly switch to my Turbo brake tow tune when towing, its awesome!
I dont bother running lower tunes cuz its at that point some douche always wants to race ya when your not tuned to the max!

Not if you set it up correctly. I have it on my dad's truck, and you wouldn't even know it was there unless you activated it.It would waste lots of fuel driving around with it all the time.
