DSP2 wiring reinstall

i installed my dsp2 switch like three years ago and it has worked fine until about two months ago. Now sometimes i flip the switch and it works and sometimes it doesn't, so i'm redoing it as i have one splice in it (cut the wire a little too short for where i moved it to) and i think it may have to do with the terminals. I was wondering, isn't it just a simple on off switch or is there more to it? just wondering because i kinda want a switch that is a little more discrete than the one that was sent to me with efi. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. -Garrett

I think it is a resistor switch. You might want to post over on the efi live forum.

So I replaced switch wires and terminals and its good. If anyone was wondering, the switch is just a simple breaker.
