I have the AEM Workhorse Dryflow air cleaner. I need to clean it. I know I can order the cleaning solution from AEM's site but I was wonder if anybody knew what exactly the "cleaning solution" is and if I could get a generic version from somewhere else. I also noticed that my AEM Workhorse has been replaced with the Brute Force HD. :dontknow: Oh well.

Not sure what that filter is "dry force"?

If it's like a K and N that requires cleaning and oiling, having wire inner and outer support with a foam internal "sandwich" of sorts.

The spray is to loosen the dirt and grimy oil, i use a mix of water and liquid dishwashing detergent. If it's mixed to the right consistency it'll spray for you.

Good luck.

It's not like a K&N or other oiled filter, They have some type of solution that you mix with water and clean it in a bucket. I guess I'll buy some and see what it is and take it from there. ;)
