So just jack up the axle?

After you take the hitch off and the bottom bolt out of the shackles, nothing will be holding the rear of the spring. The shackle will raise with the axle and you jack it up to where the shackle is pretty much touching the underside of the bed. Then you should be able to slide the top bolt out, and then just reverse the procedure.

Doesn't sound too bad guys. I appreciate the info, hopefully I can get some time one evening after work this week. Got some new wheels and tires on the way so I'd like to get it done. Also have some traction bars coming :thumb:

Worth mentioning that some, including myself, have had to unbolt and raise the bed a few inches to get the top bolt out

On the driverside I thought I was going to have to do this because the bolt was hitting a rivet in the top of the frame. I got it out though, my current truck i did the shackles with the bed off while I was cutting weight so it worked a little easier.
