Dang that doesn't sound like them at all DJM is by far one of the better ones out there. I'd call them and make them send out another set.

I called them last night but they were closed, they seem super beefy compared to the eBay shackles. I believe corbin had bell techs on the red truck he said. I like that they didn't have alot of adjustment so the straps were way shorter. We will see what djm says.
Less adjustment and shorter straps mean they will not be 3" just so you k ow belltech only makes a 2"
I can get those on amazon but they don't have the polly bushings like the djm. Hopefully djm will just make it right. Other wise I'm gonna cut the one apart and fix it myself. The width not being the same doesn't bother me as much as the pipe being out of wack.
Well I called djm again and they said they are scared if they send me another they won't be any better? They said there not aerospace quality nor are they perfect. When I can look at it and see that something is wrong. She acted like I was a perfectionist because the mounting holes are an 1/8 inch off side to side. Am I crazy? I said I'd send them pics and see what they thought.
Mine turned out straight, although you are right about the paint, it is meh at best
Mines pretty crooked l, I just pressed the steel sleeve and poly bushings out of it and I'm just gonna cut it apart and fix it at work myself. Seems like that's the only way I'm gonna get what I want. They didn't even care to keep my business they just kept saying they would take it back and I could go somewhere else, wtf?
too many company's now a days don't give a rats ass about your business unfortunately. if your not happy they don't care apparently they have enough business they don't need yours. I see this weekly and it makes me wonder how company's like that stay in business. apparently all a small number of people have standards and wont except overpriced junk. I feel your pain. rant over
Im gonna have them blasted and get that shitty paint off and put something good on them. The paint is flaked off bad now that I have been handling them alot. You can tell there not sand blasted or prepped before paint where it's flaked.
Yeah I mean they probably would have bolted up, but the leaf spring bushing wouldn't have liked it.
I told them I'm fixing them myself and they said "ok sorry for the inconvenience we extend our apologies."
