I just bought my brothers truck and caught the fact the eBay drop shackles are snapped in 2 on one side and the other side is bent. What are the best ones I can pick up. What does everyone run that tows and hauls alot of weight?

Far as I know only DJM has 3" drop shackles and they are decently beefy. Had mine on 6+ years now and look great.

Just ordered a set of djm shackles, they say 2 inch but look like the rest of the 3 inch ones I've seen. Anyone ever order there control arm adjuster plates to lock the front end in that low?

Unless the shackle has 4 holes it's 2". I've yet to see anyone but DJM have a 4 hole shackle to give you a true 3". You will never get the shackle on hole 1 for less than 1" but hole 3 is 2" and hole 4 is 3". Please prove me wrong but that's what I've seen first hand when dealing with shackles over the years. LML and newer on the other hand there are only 2" available because of the bed seam.

Only other ones I know are ebay junk that is what's on my brothers that broke. The ones corbin had on my red truck were long like a 3 inch shackle but only had 2 holes for adjustment. I liked them because they were solid almost all the way up and just had short 2 hole tabs at the top. They weren't like the ones I just ordered from djm I don't think.

it really comes down to how much higher the holes are from the stock one. 6" from stock is a 3" drop.

i have ebay "2 inch" drop shackles that are actually only 1" drop shackles at their tallest setting. going on 3-4 years now without issue but we dont have rust issues here :D

Got my djm shackles, both have bare spots where the paint is chipped off. One is 3 9/16" wide the other is 3 3/4" wide and one the pipe that holds the bushing is definitely not straight. Not very happy for 100 bucks. I could build something better than this on my lunch break at work.
