Not bad for a half mile though! Just pulled the cab bushings that's it?

Cab bushings, notched frame under the rad support, dropped two front bed mounts and fabbed two rear bed mounts. It won't work on a stock frame, you would need to take the thickness of the body bushing off the top of the frame below the bed, or notch the inside floor of the bed. I gutted my bed.

Anybody lower in the rear with drop shackles or so, w/ airbags? If so care to share what kind of airbags you are using?

Can only run a 3" shackle with the overload still in place with the standard bags for a GM, even that is getting close as the bags will be somewhat smashed.

For lower, your gunna have to use something like these guys, but their only 3000 lbs, compared to the 5000 the normal "GM style" bags are.

You cant use caltracs on sort bed DJM drop hangers because the way DJM uses the hanger, they are 180* opposite from the stock ones.

Stock hangers in ever dmax point with the opening down, some of the DJM hangers point up (shortbed)

The long bed DJM drop hangers are like factory, point down, so the triangle piece that calvert uses will work. I have not seen this on a truck before, but in theory it will work since its the same as stock.

I run rancho 9000xl on my truck with my DJM 3/5 kit. Did research and matched these with the drop amount. I dd on 2/2 settings and it rides great. Had them on for a lil over a month now.

The ones I have are:
RS999113 for the rear
RS999272 for the front.

I have the ranchos on mine! With the front decranked to match the rear, it rides terrible! Seems like the shocks are already out of their travel. (Already compressed).

Did you purchase the correct length?

One more question is what about the front stabilizer?

I looked at the stock height shocks and found out their lengths compressed and extended. Then looked around until I found some that mounted the same but had the shorter lengths to accommodate the drop. I then emailed rancho and asked if the shocks were made the same and gave them info on my truck and they told me that they are made the same so if the length seems that it would work then they should be fine.
