Can you report the Serial # for the cable to EFI and then they can possibly deny someone when they try to buy a license??

No, not on the V2. :(

Thank you for locking the V2 serial number.

I do still have my V1 for now, so its not the end of the world.

on a good note, Tony (gmc-2002-dmax) helped me out reflashing my tune into my ECM so I can actually have some vane position control now...thanks for bailing me out once again buddy. :D

Tacojedbob and I put the twins on last night/today. It was really laggy and EGT's were high because I dont get the "correct" ECM back from Tony until tomorrow, but we just had to take it for a drive anyway. First time we pulled out of my driveway and accellerated Jed and I looked wide eyed at eachother with a worried look...."holy crap...are they supposed to shriek that loud???" We pulled over to check because I thought I didnt tighten the housing on properly and the wheel was hitting something...nope, they are just supposed to be that loud. :D

I still cant get over the whistle, makes me think of bub rubb and lil' sis, 'DA WHIASTLES GO WOO WOOOOOO!!!

Driving through town at night everyone would turn and stare when I got on it and the big one spooled up. First time I went WOT with them (also one of the first times I went WOT on the new motor) it blew the top intercooler boot off, scared the crap out of me, I thought the motor let go. Put a big dent in the intercooler tube from hitting the hydrobooster accumulator.

Anyway, Ill report back tomorrow when I actually have a tune in it that makes the twins work the way they are supposed to...

My intercooler pipe did the same thing:rofl:, must be a fresh install kinda thing:rofl::rofl:. I have a fix for the guys with the HTT, and the intercooler tube being to short.

I dont know if ben mentioned this already...but we found out the early LB7 blocks are a little different than others. The big turbo brace/drain mounts to the block just in front of the PS exhuast manifold with two bolts. On bens built block ('01) there was only one boss for the brace. Thought we were going crazy not seeing the other boss to bolt to, but then checked my LLY and 04 LB7 block I am building and realized ben's block only has one.

So what did you do?

the accumulator is the round metal cylinder thing coming out of the hydroboost unit. Its charged with nitrogen and its what gives you the power brake assist reserve if the engine should stall while you are driving.

we fabbed up a little bracket to remount the brace for the big turbo.
