I got mine in place nicely, the main problem I am having is an interference with the glow plug controller bracket.
Every attempt to get the holes to line up with the bolts failed so far.
Not sure what to do next. I am tempted to remove the glow plug controller bracket (I have avoided this so far), get the bolts to align and bend the tube to fit the bracket.

try bending the GP bracket or the tube slightly.....worst case move the bracket?

Tried to bend the bracket....it is a tough one.

Yes it is:D Lennart can you even get the bolts somewhat started?
I remember now that I got them where the nut was just started and then drove them in with the air ratchet

the bracket ain all that bad I think its was 10mm or 12mm ratchet wrench helped to get the bolts in the oddball location

i know it's not necessarily easy to work on our trucks, i know because mine has been apart for almost 10 days, but once you lower the tranny, it should take you all of 5 minutes.

Assuming I don't need to look after my ATF every other day, I was thinking about fabbing a very short filler tube, maybe 2" long and shorten the dipstick accordingly. This way I could still check the level when e.g. changing the filter.
Saves weight, too :D

With the GP module bracket off I got the filler tube installed....BUT with the TxC up-pipes I had to bend the tube all the way back to the firewall.
Will probably pursue my idea of shortening the stock tube and mount it to the PTO cover with a band clamp.
