Drive Shaft length?

hey I need some info if anyone could help, I have a 2005 2500HD ccsb 4x4 with 900lb add a leaf for a little lift and well to handle more towing. I Twisted one drive shaft Aluminum and snapped another Aluminum well I have a chance to buy a steel one and im not home to get the length im about 500 miles away so im kind of stuck. is it 70 1/2 inches? and do I need to add a half or so with the 1 1/2 inch lift the leaf gives me? any info would help thanks

I would not put a steel shaft on my truck. I had one made and was not able to get all the vibrations out of it. The length of tube effects critical mass and is very hard to get a steel shaft that doesn't have some vibration.

You pull as I towing or sled pulling? I would talk with Tony at All Seasons and he could lead you in the right direction then.

I just put a steel one in mine and stressed to the shop that it needed to be balanced perfectly . It doesn't seem to have any vibration that I notice . ( I had mine made to 70 1/2" )
