I just got confirmation today that I'm going to see the Vegas 400 in March!! :D

I'm excited! I've never been to a Nascar race or Vegas or even holidayed in the states before so it's going to be a good time - I hope!!

Any particular casino's that I should make a point of checking out Kat? ;)

I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to make a trip out to hoover and the big ditch they have out there.

And I definetly plan on walking around with a 6 pack of tall boys hanging from my belt!!

That will be an awesome trip. I just got back from Vegas. I cant imagine going to a NASCAR race and Vegas for the first time. You may explode from excitement. I stayed at the Rio. Very nice but off the strip. Of all the ones I went into I would have to say Caesars Palace was the most impressive. Weather should be good in March too !!

I dig the smiley montage, it sums it up. Drink, sleep , puke, get up and eat, do it all over again. But then again you could pass on the food... why screw up a $100 drunk with a $3 hamburger???

There is alot to see in Vegas, see a show that interests you. All the casinos are ausum, after awhile they all look and smell the same. I get great rates and meet nice local people at South Pointe, it's big, new, off the strip, nice dealers who talk to you, away from as*holes, the cost to wager is FAR less as well, ever seen $5 blackjack on the strip??? Isn't much. Go South away from the strip about 2 miles stay on Las Vegas Blvd. If you come into Vegas North bound on 15 it's on the left, 10-15 stories tall. You can shuttle to the strip walk around all day and then GET OFF the insanity train. Go to "the old strip" where the "Rat Pack" used to run around, they have the largest TV in the world (i thnk) it's like 2 blocks long. The TT bars are in the rougher parts of the City, the girls are out of this world but stuck up, what do you expect with a pair like they bought and a drunk guy breathing in your face all night? Special favors VIP Room $250-500 hour depending on how busy they are...

Enjoy.

Bally's is always good to me, they better be, they have "TAKEN" a large sum of my money over the years. They do have friendly dealers though and its pretty centralized on the strip. 3 card poker is good at Bally's, Blackjack is good next door at Paris and your Players card works at both.......When your broke, play Pai Gow anywhere, your money lasts a long time and you still get free drinks while playing :beer

Sure have...O'Sheas; my post clubbin gambling spot!!! :D

Not sure if you are into that kinda scene, but you can take your pick on the clubs, too. Whatever you do, do NOT buy any 'discount' coupons from the cabbies...;)

Texas!!!
That's awesome Dale. I'm jealous. Once I finally get back to Texas I'm going to try to make it out to Texas Motor Speedway at least once to see a NASCAR race. If you come through Idaho on your way down you'll have to stop and say hi.

If you don't want to walk take a Taxi, the strip is almost impossible to drive on at night. Especially if you have had a few :alc::alcoholic:

I'm taking the Vette next weekend. I don't plan on driving it, except to and from Pahrump.
