I would like to share an experience with you all, about drinking and

driving. As you well know, some of us have been known to have had brushes
with the authorities on our way home from the odd social session over the
years.

A couple of nights ago, I was out for a few drinks with some friends
and had a few too many cocktails and some rather nice claret. Knowing full well
I may have been slightly over the limit, I did something I've never done
before - I took a bus home.

I arrived home safely and without incident, which was a real surprise,

as I have never driven a bus before and am not sure where I got this one.

Its all funny till u actually have a family member, friend die from a drunk driver. Then little stories like this one are not so funny!
Drinking and driving is a very selfish thing to do, not only can you kill yourself but more often than not other people are hurt or killed also. But I am a reasonable person and still find humor in stories like this. I'm sure no harm was ment by the OP.

First off your right and I'm sorry for your loss. I understand your concern and sensitivity to this topic. Drinking and driving is irresponsible just like speeding and any type of street racing. Both I hope you NEVER EVER participate in.

Anyway this is a joke some can be offended more severe than say a Blondie joke or a Joke at religion that is why I put it in this section "comedy club" and also I put in the subject matter what it would pertain to. So might I suggest that if you feel so strongly about this topic ,with good reason I'm sure, why not abstract from reading it? That is your option you know!

I'm sure you didn't expect to see something serious about Drunk Driving in this section. Anyway once again sorry for your loss.
