I have very similar set up 30x14s MH and I 60' better on my 275/60 17 420s. I think there is room for improvement but tire pressures need to messed with to get them dialed in

I never understood why anybody would want to use those narrow pyos for drag wheels other than for the front of a 2wd. End up with too much of a crown that ruins your contact area
There's plenty of 16x8 or 10" wide aluminum wheels for cheap that only weigh a pound or few heavier
