First time at the track on the new set up, went on some 20x12's and nitto 420's, ran a 6.92@108mph with a 1.67 60'. Truck has lots left! Looking for a light slick set up!

If you can find a decent set of slicks to fit the factory aluminum 16s they work well just hard with how narrow the wheels are, but they are light
What's done to the truck? I borrowed a buddies set of stock wheels with Mickey Thompson drag radials and they hooked up nice. Didn't get times but could feel the difference from the heavy 20" wheels and nitto420's
That is light on the PYOs. Racelines are 28--30 on an 18x9 . Lighter than those I think are the real wheels if you won the lottery lately . :happy2:
Raceline Renegade 8 (16x10) wheels with M&H 30x14x16 cheater slicks weigh about 42-44lbs mounted.
As was said earlier, Real Wheels are ultra light, ultra strong, and can cost you a ton but you get what you pay for with them.

Just got my 30x14x16 cheater slicks and pro comp rims which are 22lbs. Are people running this setup with tubes or tubeless? And do you run rim screws?
I don't run tubes in mine. They won't hold air forever but never been a problem over a weekend of racing.
I might be wrong but I thought I read somewhere that the 3500 hd single wheel pyos are 7 inches wide instead of 6.5 inches can anyone confirm that?
My 3500 didn't come with pyos, it had steel at 7.5" I'm not even sure it was an option to get pyos on a 3500srw
pro comp 1069 16X10 4.5" back space they are 21lbs each! And I only paid like 135 canadian each....cheap cheap. Truck is now 5660 with me in it!:woott:
