Max'd Out has gone 137.93 on MT drag radials. You are right, duraflite does add into the equation, Rob has to retune the tranny when we put on the slicks.
With a 4wd truck running drag radials, how do you actually get them hot and sticky? Not like you can do a 4wd burnout. Do you guys just roast them in 2wd and then lock it in 4wd? So a 28" is good up to 120mph? Thats moving!!
I pull around the box and back in. 2x burn out for about 3-5 seconds, mainly to get rid of the rocks that get picked up on the way to staging. The rear is alot lighter then the front, so I figure it could use a little extra help hooking up. I've cut a best of 1.62, and I think I could do better with some more suspension tweeks, and quality shocks.
