Im looking into a set of drag radials for my truck but dont know which are better the M&H or Mickey Thompson. The other thing is that summit has two different part #'s for the M&H ROD08 and ROD18. Does anyone know the difference? I called summit but they didnt know

plenty of people have been happy with the m&h's , i am going to try out my MT's tomarrow . not shure on the difference on part #'s i would call m&h . i know my friend dimitri has cutt 1.6's on a very slippery track with the m&h's . we will see what my how my MT's compare . tuff to compare unless you ran each on same truck same day .

just bought a set of these for the race truck. Been using Nathan Nitto drag radials, These are a bit wider.

MT 3786R P305/45R18 29X11.50R18

What wheels are those your run them on? Any reason for using 18's? Wouldnt 16s be lighter?

the 305/45r18's are the tallest tire they offer in bigger than a 15" wheel . they are 29" tall .

Oh, that makes since then, so if these are gonna be ran, a light weight 18" wheel needs to be found.

What about M&H, do they make comparable sizes in 16"?

16" m&h you can get up to a 28" , move up to 17" and you can get 30" but they are pretty wide . my 18" wheels are 26 lbs if i remember right , the wheel and tire combo is about 58 lbs . my wheels were 135 bucks each from discount tire direct .

did you run this weekend trent?

he made one pass and blew though the brakes then got rained out :(

yep kat is right made one pass and building boost the truck went through the brakes , hydoboost has been getting a little week and it pulls a little harder with the shorter tires , not a good excuse but i didnt get another run to try , i did get a launch just the slip was off from the clock starting when i red lighted , didnt slip a tire and mph was down a hair like it should be when you get a good 60( dont know why that is ? ) but i have to wait a few weeks for track to be open again :(
