DPX cat fuel filter upgrade

Super exited just ordered a 2 micron cat fuel filter base for my 01 DM . Im a firm believer in cat filters but this is my first fuel filter mod what's your opinions on DPX brand fuel filter base ? They had good reviews is anyone running one?

WRONG choice of filters, if it is the 1R-0750, 1R-0749 at 5-10 um (micron) and the 364-5287, 306-9199 at <4 um (micron) you have no water removal for costly injectors. Some guys have run them for years so they say with no issues but I would NOT run my truck without one in the stock position unless I had a lift pump that has a FWS, then you're OK. The websites need to update someday and Cat DOES not have a 2 micron manufactured for them ...............

They are listed at 2 micron from cat but I remember reading on here that they were tested and aren't true 2 micron "someone site or correct me please" and the Cat filter doesn't filter out water so my $0.02 is just run that filter than pick up a Donaldson next time you change it that has the water seporator built in. Or just get a lift pump..

I looked at this and you must be referring to the where it says buying cat filters from other companies they might be counterfit filters? I work for cat I just get them from our warehouse

Let me know how the water seperator works on the cat filter.

This filter does not have a water seperator so instead I am going to move it to the back after pump before a 7micron with seperator I wish they would just make this filter with a seperator

Just go donaldson. 3 micron filter with water seperator. Flows 95gph. Flows more then most filters that fit adaptor.

But then on page 34 it says the factory equipped advance filter are 4 micron absolute. I would like to know what the 0749 actually filter. Seems to be some big differences on ratings. Alot of people have run them for a long time without issue though.
