yes it does it is stupid to keep the dpf unless you are not a law breaker.. runs way better and i havent had any problems like when i did with the dpf. i havent had mine since 1200 miles. i have 70k on it now and no probs...
yes, cut it off, better milage, with out it and the sensors tunrned off, you do not get tha extra spray of fuel that theyused to clean the dpf out, thus saving more fuel, and the EGT's get lower alot faster
but if you are in a state where you might have to getsmog checked in the future, make sure to keep al that stock stuff so you can bolt it on to pass the test.
