Where did that sticker come from? LOL

Ditto!

Congrats, i have not followed at any DPC events in years. I'm glad that you have changed my mind and i'll now be watching. Very impressive that you won 4 of 6 events, winning one at this level is very impressive!

Trailer pull was 1/8 or 1/4 mile?

So the whole thing about having to be emission compliant has gone out the window?

Texas!!!
The sticker came from Dan Vallance. If you contact him, you can probably still get one of your own.

Well, my first day out here in Denver was great. Richard was able to put down a big number in his truck and secure a first place finish for that portion of the event. We ran a pretty healthy shot of fuel but kept things somewhat conservative. We also sprayed a couple of stages of nitrous. One was an .052 through a purge solenoid and the second stage was a .088 through a big NX solenoid. We had another stage with a .136 jet on standby, but after the first run put us in first, we decided to call it good rather than taking a chance of breaking something. The result was 1192 hp and 2314 torque uncorrected at 7750 DA on ATS’s mustang dyno.

Also wanted to say congrats to Brad Sankey on putting down a great run on his single 480 with some spray. I don’t remember the exact number, but I want to say it was just shy of 1100 uncorrected. It was good to meet you today.

Now we move to the drag strip and trailer towing portion tomorrow.

Back at you Josh! You/Richard/Russell/Shawn are all stand up guys. It did 1081/1778 uncorrected, 1340/2200 corrected on a 41 and 88 jet. That was on tune 3 at 1800us.

We ended up doing 1081/1778 uncorrected and 1340/2200 corrected on the dyno. I don't know how we did on the fuel economy portion but we had a lower consumption but 8 penalties due to learning how much pedal it took to get the S480 to do what I wanted. We were also one of the slower ETs for the 1/8mi trailer drag but the second fastest MPH at 71.41mph.

We qualified 5th in the 1/4mi drags with a 11.7 @ 125.35mph. First pass in the quick 8 we got knocked out by Steven Lucero. I ran a 11.3 @ 126.85mph on my second ever pass at the strip, can't complain there. The 3400 stall and S480 leave a little soft but once I locked the converter past the 60 it just kept on freight training! It ran 7.49 @ 100mph in the 1/8th on 4yr old 35" BFG Mud Terrains that were full hard.

We also took second in the cone course. Richard put up a killer time! I lost that by clipping a cone and my brain saying "turn the wheel left to go left" causing me to have to re-position the trailer at the final box.

Lastly we ended up taking home the win the sled pull by approximately 40ft over 2nd place. While it is great to get a win only one of the other competitors had ever hooked to a sled so it wasn't a major surprise. We also were one of the only teams to NOT be forced to work on our vehicle. It didn't have a single hiccup other than we had to remove the intake and cold side pipe to add bungs for nitrous nozzles since Summit shipped me the wrong item.

All in all it was a KILLER event that has 100% changed my outlook on the future of the diesel community. Everyone of the competitors was a class act and offered nothing but help to each other.
