as did their dually last year. Wayne from Elite was also DQ'd for the same reason. Many people own or work for shops that were/are in it last/this year. something doesn't seem right….

I actually recieved a phone call from David Kennedy this morning. Needless to say i told him exactly what was on my mind. He basically said that i could have gotten every vote out there, but because i worked for suncoast i wouldnt be allowed to go. Which to me is complete bullshit. I've lost alot of respect for that magazine and the people who run it. Not that it actually matters. They are making a Mockary of the sport/hobby I love by placing invisible rules and regulations for some but not all. Notice i said "invisible" not written anywhere. Where is the equality in that? How is that even a challange? It use to be an honor to be in DP or get chosen to the DPC now its become a joke. Funny that they'll continue to take that fat check we write them to advertise in the mag every year but not allow me to be in the challenge.. it is what it is at this point. I'm gonna keep getting the truck together and i've been speaking with my boss Ron about doing the Hot Rod Power Tours "drag week"

edited, i think ill cancel my subscription this dpc is a joke anymore

wow, that kind of upsets me. so someone who ones a truck but works for a big time performance parts company cannot be in it for that exact reason, but someone who is operating a rig that was put together by a performance shop can? who do we write our angry letters to?

I can't believe Andrew Murdock didn't make it. And is one of those GMs the custom auto truck?

that is pretty much bull shit... Again I voice my opinion, the Diesel Power Challenge has always been a f**king joke. It exists not to grow Diesel Motorsports but grow the owners of the magazines profit margin. Guys get all pumped up and spend STUPID amounts of money to break there shit and the magazine capitalizes on their carnage. BOO!!! BOO!!! BOO!!!

Been saying it for a while now....that magazine is fubar. Those subscription renewal forms keep coming in the mail....they go straight to the trash can. For those of you who want to make a statement to the magazine....hit em where it hurts, the pocketbook. I'm done with them. Sorry Andrew. Your truck is amazing and I'm sure would have been nasty in the competition. Their loss and on the bright side your truck will live to fight another day. You don't need their tires and decal on your front window. They can keep their tire shine and fuel additive as well.

I want to know why they don't vet peoples income before the competition. If someone makes millions doesn't that give them a really unfair advantage against people who don't. While we're at it why do they allow anyone to compete if they're truck has had any shops perform work on it. I'm just saying it doesn't seem fair to me.
