Pulling the motor would make it easier. But honestly just pulling the cab off of the frame is all you have to do.

damn. so really all you need to do is take the heat shield off and of course other objects in the way? no cab or motor pulling?

. You don't need to pull the motor or the cab. But nobody can say it wouldn't be easier if the motor was out. But that would be like taking out the windshield just to clean the glass. A little more work than what is really necessary. Just pull the wheel well liner and the down pipe heat shield. I also pulled the trans dipstick tube. Some others have just moved it out of the way. It is really a pretty easy job. :thumb:
