Downgrade from twins to single 472?

I'm running a S475 single on basically stock fuel and love it. No way I'd run compounds personally with how I drive.

I run a single s472sxe and love it as well. It pulls pretty dang hard all the way down the track. Stock fuel as well.

Yeah man I'm still lurking in the shadows. Been on here pricing some stuff for some new upgrades. I broke my flexplate and need to do head gaskets so I'm looking into manifolds and injectors, etc.

I want to try a 475 out, what's the best one to get. Which one spools the best?

Sounds like that cam isn't helping out. If it was my truck and these were the issues, I would start with a 1.32 t6 housing and maybe stepping up to the 1.0 t4 in the valley charger or doing a sxe366. Most people here in the Midwest don't have altitude issues and report the same spool up as a 64.5 but more punch. Just a thought tho !
