Put a Diamond Eye Downpipe on and a PPE Lift pump on my truck this week, took it to the only local track that is open which is an 1/8:(. My prior best time at that track was 8.513 @82.11 Was running consistant 8.5's at Famoso Last weekend. My best 1/8 to date was a 8.44 @81.59. Was only able to squeeze in two runs:mad: first was a 8.314 @ 83.37 and backed up with a 8.324 @83.37. Not sure what my pump is set at but my rail pressure was almost the same as before not having the pump. Only about a 500psi difference at times.

The lift pump helps during initial acceleration. Normally it will not show on a dyno.

We thought Ralph's truck was showing on the dyno, but come to find out that there is something else going on.

Intersting, I was just looking at a log with rail pressure.

Stock shift points?
What does .2 on 1/8 mean in a 1/4?

Yes stock shift points, not sure what it convers to in the 1/4. Going to the track on 3/8 to get some 1/4 times.

3 maybe 4 tenths (if it cotinues to pull as well to the 1/4) he picked up 1.2 mph so that should end up about 2.5-3mph in the Quarter.

Of course this goes on the

SO, a worthwhile investment? Sounds good. I'm also concerned with egt drop for towing applications as well.

I would say it was, wasn't able to look at my egt's on my second run when I had my insight hooked up, was too busy looking at where I was going and the other LMM in the rear view mirror lol.

How did the 1/4 track times go on 3-8? I will be going hopefully next week to our 1/8 track and c how much of this new weight will affect my time.
