Currently replacing injectors on my LB7 after balance rates and return rates proved my 28k mile old 30% over I.I. injectors were failing. :spit:
Was very surprised on how clean the top of the heads was, I never had any fuel in the oil whatsoever, believe me, with these injectors, I checked damn near weekly :thumb:
In October of 2009, this engine was fully rebuilt with new stock parts, and Mobil Delvac and a change or two of Petro Canada was used. Oil changes were every 3k and since I have owned it, every 2000-2500 miles.
I have had the oil tested at work (Cat) since I bought the truck, mainly for fuel in oil issues and only done 2 tests so far, and fuel levels were below normal. New injectors should be here end of week, and just might have it running this weekend, but, after all it is alrteady 100*+ here, so maybe not :rofl:
