well the wife went back to michigan for the week so i thought i would use the time to get out of the house and to the track. i got 2 runs in 3 if you count the red light i got and going 30 mph. times we nothing great. still 12.7s i was thinking this was due to full trim 1/2 tank of fuel and really crappy tires. well saturday Dustin @ Diesel Addiction was moving, both house and shop and i offered to help. so we packed up 2 trailers and our trucks and drove from Greenville to wilimington NC. the entire drive was fine. truck drove great as always. well lately i have been getting white smoke at start up unless pluged in. so we thought i might need a new glow plug or 2. since blance rates and everything were good. only thing we didnt check was compresson. well after a long day of moving and getting everything taken care of it is time for me to head home and let my dogs out. seeing how they have been in side since 9 am when i left and it was now going on 10 pm. so i get about 5 mins out side of wilimington driving on I40 and i get the change engine oil light come on. well i knew Dustin had changed my oil when he put the twins on due to drillin the pan. and i knew he most likely didnt reset the timer. and i was going to change it this weekend any how. well i am going up a small hill not doing anything crazy and no more then 15 secs after the CEO light came on then off i hear a sound i will never forget. i lost all power of my truck, oil pressure went to 0 so i turn it off ASAP and get to the side of the road. first thing i my mind is "save the turbos turn the truck off!" wel i pull over and i get out, i see something lecking from under the truck. well once Dustin showed up and got me to his new shop (which is very nice and i am excited to be the first to have a truck there) we start looking around. well it seems that a grape fruit came out of my motor..... so needless to say i dont think my glow plugs were bad ever...
