Doing head studs and gaskets going for 650-700hp

Im doing my head gaskets in my lly. After I am done I will be going to push for 650-700hp. While im in there I was wondering if I should put some MA pushrods in or the empire stage 1 pushrods or do I not need them? Engine will not be built. Max of 700hp as safe as I can. Do I need pushrods?

Doesn't matter what you do, and not trying to ruin your goals, but 700 HP on a stock bottom end is ever going to be safe for a lly.

Better off keeping it around the 550 to 600 area and enjoy the truck. 700 is pushing some major luck.

If you fill out your signature might help some too. There are some trucks that live at 650 for a while but you have to be realistic, at 700 as everyone has said engine itself wont last long. Your stock pushrods will be fine until you build the engine. Keep torque numbers as low as possible.

With some good tunes lbz rods are just fine at 700hp.

Not at 700hp. You really only need them when doing cam and springs.

Buying rods and pistons will be the least of your worries after buying the fuel,air, trans, and everything else needed for 1100 hp.

Rods are like 3k and some oval fingers pistons around 2k.

If your on a budget get some lbz rods. Take some material off the bottom of the cap to equal the weight of your current lly rods. No need to rebalance assembly. New bearings and studs should hold fine at 650-700hp like you originally asked...
