You might want to try some vinegar also. But, time seems like the only thing.

When my dog killed a skunk last year I used this and it worked great!

A chemist by the name of Paul Krebaum discovered a solution that chemically neutralizes skunk odor. The ingredients for the formulation are:

1 quart 3 percent hydrogen peroxide (fresh bottle)

1/4 cup baking soda (sodium bicarbonate)

1-2 teaspoons liquid dish soap.

Ingredients must be mixed in an open container and used immediately. Never mix the ingredients in advance because oxygen released from hydrogen peroxide may cause a closed container to explode. The solution can be used on people or pets; avoid splashing the product in the eyes or mouth. Allow the solution to remain on hair for five minutes before rinsing with water. Repeat as needed. Do not use this solution on clothing — it may discolor the fabric.

If you don't want your dogs to go blind and/or die, go see your local vet. They will give you a special shampoo to wash them with which won't harm your beloved critters. I have a buddy whose St.Bernard is a curious SOB and gets sprayed at least twice a year on the average. This is what he uses.

Or you could leave them outside for a month or two till the stink goes away!:D

Skunk off or the vet's choice. Safer for the dog and gets rid of that awful stench! lol

Used to happen to my dog every spring.

My boss is a Vet. They use the peroxide, baking soda, and dish soap method. All he has ever used and swears it works better than the skunk off.

just finished washing them down, used the peroxide, baking soda and dish soap method. it worked great! i also bought some arm&hammer pet odor spray that is basically the same solution but in a fresh scent spray, and that is awesome stuff....glad i read some before trying tomato juice tale. i had to lock them in the garage last night and so the garage is potent but getting better. my chow/husky shepherd mix went right after the thing cuz she smelled like onions, so bitter tasting, her face and neck were wicked oily, too bad she didn't kill the damn thing, now i gotta set traps so this doesn't happen again. the lady at the vet just said "be glad it wasn't a porky" and i told her "i know, my last dog that got quilled i brought her here and you charged me $300 to knock her out and do the job! next time if it happens i'll use whiskey or brandy!"

I had to go to my sisters house this morning and shoot a skunk that was curled up and sleepin in her dogs dog house. The damn thing looked sick. I use to have coon dogs and they would get sprayed about once a month and i would use tomato juice and shavin cream it worked pretty good. I wish i had new about the peroxide, baking soda and dish soap method tho.
