Dog thread

I did a search, but I didn't really find anything. I figured I'd start a thread where everyone can post pics of their dog and tell everyone a little about him/her.

Here's my buddy. I just picked him up a few days ago. His name is Jock, and he's a 6 week old Scottish Terrier. He's been a lot of fun so far. We're still working on not peeing inside, but he'll get the hang of it. Soon I hope...

Here is my boy Deuce at 8 weeks, 11 weeks, then about 13 weeks........... He is a blue nose pit the sweetest dog i have ever met. He is scared of brooms, vacuums and screen doors LOL in other words he's a big baby

Here's Ripley my new lab buddy. He's 14 or so weeks now and 30lbs so a little bigger than in these pics a few weeks ago. He's going to be a duck dog/ lap dog :baby:

I don't have pics of my Black Lab Jake. He was my bird dog but when I moved out I couldn't take him with me so my parents take care of him. He is getting old ~9 IIRC and was a monster @ 120lbs, but he has been sick a lot lately and lost a bit of weight.


We had a Scottish Terrier growing up and he was one of our best dogs. Very independent and killed anything that came around the farm house coons, skunks, possums ETC. Very strong for there size. I would keep a close eye on stranger and kids around them he would bit your ass in a big hurry if you did something he didn't like.

Those are all some good looking dogs guys. OSUBeaver, you take some really good pictures. Dozerboy, I'm sorry to hear about your pal. I hope you are able to still have a few more good times with him, and thanks for the tips on scotties.

the last dog i had was an Amstaff. had to give her to a family friend when i went to college.

My Dog...

Attached is a picture of my dog Riley. The heart breaker is I had to put him down last Saturday, July 25th. Riley would have been 12 in August but the lymphoma took him first. As I write this, tears are rolling down my face...







God, I miss my dog...

here was my shorthair pointer sir harley of remington (legal name). i had to put him down on dec 20th due to pancreatitus, he was 7. my first and best dog ever. miss him more everyday, i can say after having him i will only own Shorthairs from here on out. he could open doors, drink from the water cooler and understand anything i was telling him, even through a window lol
