EFILive doesn't see interface cable

I am in a huge bind right now, i was trying to log tcc and it hasnt since i updated about 5 months ago. I downloaded the newest update and now my v2 wont connect, i tried the cables from the shop's v2 doesnt work, tried the shop laptop with an older version, still same eror. use the shop v2 and shop laptop and it will connect but i dont want to use another license to tune my truck again. with my laptop and v2 it did also say to use the HAPI setting, tried that and no change.

Ideas??

Make sure your bootblock and firmware are the current ones to go along with the software version you are using. If those are good, try uninstalling and reinstalling the USB drivers.
