So I was able to get some dyno tuning this weekend. Ended up with 819whp uncorrected. So if I factor in a rough 20% drivetrain loss that equals out to 983bhp. I see about 73psi total boost with about 32psi from the atmo. So here at my alititude:
(12.3+73)/12.3= 6.93 p/r total
(12.3+32)/12.3= 3.44 p/r primary
6.93/3.44= 2.01 p/r secondary
2.01 x 12.3 - 12.3= 12.4psi secondary
Airflow = 983 x 22 x (.38/60) = 137lbs/min (smoke free)
or
983 x 18 x (.38/60) = 115lbs/min (smokey)
So the lbs/min of the small charger would be 137/3.44 = 40lbs/min (clean), 33lbs/min (smokey)
So utilizing the turbo maps from Garrett that are roughly close to mine (comp turbo doesn't publish theirs) it looks like I could still push the small charger a little harder, correct? This is based off a GT4294 and a GT5533 maps. It looks like I have more room to move on the small charger but the possibility of overspeeding the large charger if it is indeed pushing 137lbs/min. However I would think overspeeding a 94mm charger with my fueling would be very hard to do?
