do i need to fill my torque converter?

so i'm in the middle of changing out a cracked flywheel and one of the bolts was broke off in the t/c. so i had to remove the t/c from the tranny to get the bolt out. do i need to fill the t/c with fluid before i reinstall it?

I dont recall i thought 13 something but that was without filling the t/c IIRC

No need to fill the converter. Pump will instantly fill it on start up. I have never filled a converter in my life.

I always put 2-3 qts in on a new convertor before start up but its not necessary to.

Never put any in mine. When i started it the new converter rattled about 2 seconds and that was it.
