Do 09's still suffer from pump rub-through?

Friend of mine got an 09. Just checking to see if they had fixed the issue at this point, or do the t-cases still need the pump rub kit?

I thought I remember reading that the NBS trucks don't suffer from this. Some even made it sound like LBZ's were exempt.. but I think that is not the case.

My 06 LBZ is still good after 150k miles. Had my diff guy check the t-case @ 120k miles and no serious signs of wear.

When Mike L builds my trans, he will be installing a PR fix just to be safe.

would the 07 classic model need the fix or not?? i'd hate to drop my t-case and put one in if it doesn't need it. i'll see if i can find a build date

Yes. Fixed on the 07.5 nbs trucks. And get the one from Merchant. Far superior construction

yeah my 06 has 160k and i thought it suffered pump rub cuz i was under it the other day and theres oil sprayed all over the cab and top of tcase and i thought @$#& well come to find out it was just the rear seal lol
