You gotta have some fun every now and then.

Define this term, because our intake ,tune, and exhaust trucks are running 12.7-12.9s, with no limped trans. :roflmao:

I always hear that, but I see very few that have actually done it. :thumb:

Our stock 25 list consists of built trans but all stock fueling/turbo and no spray. The goal is to see how fast the stock fuel/air can take it, not how much you can limp the trans. 12.003 is the time to beat right now.

i'd take a 6.4 in a heart beat. Pulling the cab every once in a while doesn't bother me, most of the 6.4's i've been around over here have been very good trucks once deleted.;)

But I LOVE my dmax! :happy2:

The 6.4 is not a bad engine/trans combo. Probably the best one they ever came out with IMO. At least for out of the box fun that is. Everything else about the truck sucks as far as I am concerned though-especially working on it!

I ran a brand new 6.4 bracket racing a few years ago and beat him with my wimpy 13.2. He had some sort of SCT tuner, stock trans exhaust, intake. I just had EFI exhaust/intake and a converter. Rest of the trans stock. I went to the finals that day, he broke after his second pass. Nuff said. Was impressed how fast it ran with just a tuner though. First time I ever saw a Ford run a low 13 with so little done to it.
