I wish someone would show exactly how to get that "cap" off the end of the barrel to get the valve out. I destroyed a perfectly good LB7 reg trying to get that cap off.

I used a torx driver that fit the hole snug. It does groove the inside of the hole but most of it comes out when you drill it to the inside diameter of the spring. The next one I do Im going to find a screwdriver that just fits & grind the tip off, make it a dedicated cap remover.

x2 im going to add 30 over tipsto a stock motor that breathes very well but i still have the stock cp3
