I'm in Afghanistan and the wife is driving my truck I get a call today:

Wife: somethings wrong with the truck

Me: can you elaborate?

Wife: idk it's leaning to one side kind of and is hard to turn...

Me: ,$@/!;&$:$,&:)/!!!!! Thinking the front end is folded in or something catastrophic. Well can you show me pictures?

Wife: sends pictures

Me: everything looks ok. ( at this point I walk her through using the CTS to bring up DTC's

Wife: it doesn't have any codes

Me: "FML what is wrong with my truck!" Can you explain more to me what's wrong with it?

Wife: I just went to drive it and it wouldn't turn and it drove different and the gas petal was different than usual..

Me: "lost at this point face palming myself thinking how much this is gonna cost and Lightbulb goes off!" Is it in four wheel drive love?

Wife: no why... Oh yea it says 4Hi

So apparently my 16month old daughter put it in 4hi while she was cleaning the truck she loves to drive daddy's truck and play with all the buttons and switches. I just knew the front end folded under when she call and told me something was wrong.

Haha it happens. My three year old likes sticking coins in the cig lighter outlets and blowing fuses. Apparently a quarter will fit perfectly in there.

Years ago my dog moved the transfercase lever on the floor into neutral at 80 mph. That was fun.

So cute :)

One year I was out plowing and I got a call from my wife that she was taking my truck out in the blizzard to her dads. She was confused if she should use 4wd up arrow or down arrow. UP UP OMFG UP!!!! I had visions of her driving there in 4low bouncing off the rev limiter and bitching at how slow my truck is. Hahaha

Buddy of mine had his wife call him late one night (she had his truck, working 2nd shift, getting ready to go home). Said truck won't go ..... ok .... is it in gear?? YES ... ok, give it gas .... nope, still won't go .... ok .... put it in 4WD (it was in 2WD) and give it some more gas .... POP!

It was winter, she got to work it was above freezing ... happened to park in a large puddle that froze the tires to the ground. Once it cam unstuck, everything was OK .... He made sure to tell her to put it back in 2WD before leaving the parking lot.

It's really hard to imagine all the possibilities of stuff that is going on when your not there.
