It has been a long 3 years to get to the 8s. The new transmission set up works great. We are now starting to puts some HP back in it, a little at a time until something breaks.
I would like to thank everyone for their support and help along the way.
Randy @ the NHRDA is looking for the video. We have a in cab camera but the battery died in the staging lanes.

what trans are you guys running in the truck these days? I had heard some possibilities about what your running but I would rather hear it hear it from the man himself,not just someone saying I think he's running xyz trans.

It is a bruno drive with a 3 speed lenco.
The bruno has a lock up converter. It is programed to lock up when the trans brack is released. I can program the length of time it tacks to fully lock up.

Sounds like a pretty cool setup. I had heard rumor you had a Bruno/Lenco in it but I was wondering about the lockup converter, it seems to me with the torque of a diesel it would be a huge waste to not have lockup.
