^ Correct. I talked with him this morning. He's down in Florida with the Suncoast crew helping get their race truck ready for this year.

Already destroyed a wheel in the big charger on the suncoast truck on the first spool up...
I think Dmitri's truck is doing well from what I've heard so far. Saw a few video clips of some launches on the street, looks REALLY good.

Is that from Dallas' truck? I thought Nathan just built those twins for him....GT5541 primary I thought?
From what I saw on FB , he did , but he didn't supply the turbo's , FI did . First thing i wondered is why it doesn't have the Billet wheel in it , all 5541's I have seen come out of the box with a billet comp wheel .
that's what I thought too. I used to have a good opinion of FI turbos, but after seeing how many of their turbos have come apart in the last year, I'm all set
My only other though was maybe it was a custom large exducer wheel , i couldnt tell if it had been trimmed to fit a 106mm inducer , or if the comp wheel had hit the cover ? And I have heard of a lot of failures too , but a lot of people speak highly of them so I don't know . It sucks to see those pics , what a horrible spot to be in with a brand new engine .
could be a custom wheel. what would make it contact there on the exducer though? shaft thrust into the cover? bad harmonics?
