Killing the hobby for who again....?????

Let people be the way there going to be. Every hobby has its downfalls, and if you dont have fun and rather spend your time policing everyone, you are going to miss out on what you think you are defending.

I am pretty responsible, but I also have been known to blow some smoke on people, race on the street, and cause issues...who cares, and who is anyone to say its stupid? Everyone in the world has done something someone doesnt like...

Even owning a stock truck with no m,ods, there is someone out there thinking its dumb to have a truck...are you going to agree anbd give in? or do your own thing?

Live a little, you dont get to take your hobbies with you to heaven...

Call me a redneck cause my truck smokes sometimes, call me a ricer cause I have a stack, call me a dip shit cause I race on the street once in awhile.....whatever make you happy and cool because you think you have the power or whatever it is to call it out like that..

Well put. Live a little. Who gives a shit what other people think, have fun. YOU bought the mods, use them. Every freaking 4 wheelin guy always bitch about how clean I keep my truck. Well its my truck, I choose whether or not I want it to be clean. I paid for the truck myself and I plan on keeping it for a long time, so cleaning helps prolong the life of the truck IMO. Better than throwing it in a mudhole or sliding it in SALTY snowy roads. Thats cool if you like doing that, but dont jump my case for not doing it. And besides if you want to call out the "ricers" of the diesel community go on the Cummins sites and go police over there. Majority of the Cummins drivers is what you would call "ricers"

My roommates call me a ricer with torque (they have an Evo and Sti) but my truck was still faster and more useful. The dual 7in stacks did make it emo'ish but you'll have that.

Damn I only made it to page 7 over there until my eyes glazed over and I lost Consciousness. Now I know why I'm not a member on that site.

I don't think we are so much "ricers" as we are a "fad".

Every body and there brother has to have a diesel truck that makes 500+hp and runs 12's or better. It was cool 5 years ago when you could sneak up on people that weren't expecting a truck to be crazy fast. But now, especially around here, people know that pretty much every diesel truck is a ballistic missile.

Now the factories are putting out cars that can hang, and I don't think it will be as big a hobby going forward as it has been. Plus new trucks selling for $60k is a big negative.

I can only speak for myself, but if I'm spending $60k on a vehicle it will definitely not be a truck. I'm thinking CTS-V or M3..... better yet an '11 5.0 GT and save $30k.

I have plenty of hobbies. Years ago I was on pirate often because I did a lot of wheeling. I knew quite a few guys over there. Some were cool, some were douche bags. I havent been wheeling in a ling time but I still like it, I dont make fun of it, I dont make fun of diesels. I laugh at ricers, cause lets face it their funny to laugh at, but hey, they are just doing their thing. I give props to some of them that actually have a nice car and runs well. Not my thing but again, its their hobby. Even the low rider guys with hydrolysis and such, not my thing but I find it fascinating that they put all the time and mechanics into something that they enjoy. Who really cares...just enjoy what you do and let others enjoy what the do.

Heres me wheeling :D
