Im getting sick of both. Seems like every month the only thing in the tech articles is how to put on an exhaust... err...lets see an article on duel cp3's or something cool. not the same thing every month...gee../end rant

Look for Diesel Tech, its every two months, and they have subscriptions. They have a lot more than the others, and have been running a project build-up on a LLY that is really interesting.

I just subscribed to it right now. I would like the back issues about the LLY build. I'll email the editor about that. Thanks Larry

The future of hotrodding is the websites, not the print magazines.

I kind of agree with Pat on this one. I think I learn alot more, and get alot more info from here and other sites then I ever would from a magazine. I mean why wouldn't I, its instant. I ask and plenty of people answer.

Magazines will eventually go the way of the Dodo. Why? Shear volume of readership.

True, but magazines help pass the time while your talking to the president :D

I agree with some of that. BUT the one thing magazines do is have detailed instructions with illustrations that you can keep around forever. If I started a thread asking someone to write me up detailed directions complete with part numbers and illustrations on an LLY buildup, I would probably get laughed off of here. With that being said I think this is the BEST diesel forum going, but I look forward to my magazines too.

I prefer Diesel World. I haven't seen a Diesel Tech yet. I do think Diesel Builder is a pretty decent one too.

Diesel Power has way too many informational gray areas for me and their editing is usually horrible. I won't be reupping my DP subscription when it runs it's course.

Yea I like that Diesel Builder one to, I hear there is a stock looking sport red duramax on the lower cover and a 7 page spot on it and a few pic's all thru the first few pages wouldn't know who's truck that would be.
