I'm new at all of this.I need help or some guidence of how to choose the right programmer at there.I have a 2008 LMM Duramax everything is stock.I'm in the process right now of installing a reman CP3 50 HP + and the Airdog 150 GPH Lift Pump. I was looking at the Edge 85400 CTS2 Diesel Evolution Programmer but don't know how good it is.Any help guys

Moved your thread into the tuning section.

You sound like you dont know much about tuning, so you would be much better off with an easy-to-use handheld of some kind to get started instead of delving into custom tuning. That Edge you mentioned would be a good starter box. Just make sure its compatible with the emissions on your truck.

The guys here more-or-less will always recommend efilive simply b/c most all of us are hotrodders and we all have some (or a lot) of experience with that platform.

If/when you decide you want to delete the bs, or simply want more performance....thats where a custom efilive tune comes into play and is the best option.

what's your location? Someone might be local and can explain and/or show you what a good tune does to their truck before you buy something. I've done that for a bunch of dmax owners nearby and made a few friends.
