I'm gonna have to bow out on this one guys... WAY too much stuff to do to get the turbo installed. Drain tube isn't finishd and I myself cannot do it, downpipe will not be ready, I need 2 bolts for the drain flange and the store I go to Graingers closes at 4 and I'm still at work. I should have just gotten a GT42 and made it easy :( this sucks

The Redding event we attended was a poor event in our opinions... long pauses between rounds for no reason what so ever, they decided to not prep the track one bit until the finals??? the announcer came on and said "WOO HOO!!!! get ready everybody for the finals we have decided to prep the track with VHT!!!" so apparently they did not instruct the track to properly prep the track? Everyone was .1-.2 slower on their 60's and we all were hoping and spinning all over the place was a waste of time IMHO as none of us got any usable data from the whole day. My personal favorite rule was "In the staging lanes if you decide to step out of your truck while it is running you will be automatically disqualified i was blown away by that rule. Just wasn't fun

First of all most of your gripes you should aim at the track, not NHRDA, the track controls the how the action goes not NHRDA. Track prep is by the the track, not NHRDA they can ask the track to do a better job of preping it but whether it is done or not is another story. Getting out of your truck car off your motorcycle, etc and leaving it running is complete no no and enforced at any track I've ever been to.

Redding is a podunk track to begin with, first time I race there we walked the track and tossed off deer leg bones some critter had drug in. It rough and prep has never been good the three times I've been there. Beside it usually hotter than hell, and no amount of prep work can make a track that is 135 degrees plus hold very well. Lots of tracks don't like diesel trucks with street tires because of what the do to the starting line and do very little prep to begin with. I think your gripe should be more with the track management of Redding than with NHRDA.

I've raced at many of their events and some are ran better than others, in every case slow rounds and dead time were caused by the track not the NHRDA. You also have to allow for some cool down time and if there are not many truck that certainly will cause some dead time. One suggestion we have made is to have T&T during these times so there is something going on. The Phoenix race this year was painfully slow due to how the track used their computer system for laddering rounds. Seemed like it took for ever.

Nothing is perfect, but if we don't show up and support the diesel races we have there won't be any and before you know it and we'll all be running against gassers in NHRA.

What I think is no fun is to show up with a good truck and have no one to race, that gets old in a hurry.

X2. Racing at LVMS can be a bitch with all the fartcans and pissboxes buzzing around, but to me the fun is gone if I can't line up against another comparable truck.

I know you're refering to points events, racing other fast trucks, but even TnT or MM events would be more fun if other trucks would at least race. Half the guys that came out of st George parked their rides at the last event..... Wound up racing some buzzbomb that sounded like it was gonna blow up. Where's the fun in that.

No I just don't mean the points races and the high performance trucks, even the local club races. 50 trucks show up and maybe 10 of them race, everyone is afraid of breaking. I can understand that to a point, but damn if it gets much worse, this sport as a unique entity may very well cease to exist.

The only real rule for sportsman is you cant run faster than 12.0 , and must meet the saftey requirements for your ET and MPH .

Oh...no reason for me to worry about running faster than a 12.0...haha looking at my 8 hour drive up there I'm not going to be pulling the stereo system or any of that crap just gonna run it like I brung it...Pretty excited if everything works out for this hopefully I'll see some decent times
