Hello, i was just wondering if i could get any info that yall had about this issue. I have just had the injector nozzles replace on my 02 lb7. The injector bodies were in great shape none of which were cracked. After running it for about ten minutes after the nozzle replacement, i noticed that i had some diesel in the oil. Ive tightend up all return lines. Idk where to go next. Thanks so much for any info provided

Any more info? Miles on truck, who's injectors & nozzles. Who did the work?

The search function on this site will lead you to days of reading on this subject & the LB7 in general

He didn't change the injector, just the nozzles. He's either got a leaking return or a stuck open injector.

Have you checked for excessive won't, could be a cup or injector not seated.

I second the nozzle question. My opinion should have just replaced the whole thing. To much labor to take a chance like that in my opinion

Pretty sure he was on duramaxforum and someone told him to do that. I could be wrong but I recall a guy with a similar name being told to do so. Pointless to change only the tip, when 99% of the time it's the last thing to fail.

Could be a cracked body on an injector.

Sorry for being so late with the reply. My phone has not been working for a while. The reason i changed the injector nozzles was that it was way cheaper than buying a set of remans. I had the injector bodies tested and they were good. I took it to a different mechanic and he things that it is lose return line. Again im very sorry about the late reply and thank yall for the info.
