Went to the Dyno day in Concord at LCD today. I did 518hp but no torque numbers. They werent gonna take the time to hook the cable up to every truck since there was so many which is lame. Their dyno wasnt reading right with the dyno brake so they didnt use it to load the trucks. Instead they held the brakes on the truck to try n get the turbo spooled. I tried to make an EFI Live tune for the TCM to keep it from downshifting but it didnt work. My power curve didnt come on full until about 2700-2800 judging by the speed (since there is no rpm reference). Mods are in sig. I will try and post up the dyno graph later if I can figure out how to do it. All in all I had a good time hanging out with and meeting other diesel folk like me.

Congrats Nate, it was nice meeting you. I'm not very happy with my dyno numbers 454hp, but I had a good time.

They put me back on the rollers almost last. They were not able to load the dyno for my first three passes and I threw out a whoping 416hp. Second set of pulls I ran 560hp, (5th gear) was 15lb short of full boost and the pull was started @ 90mph. It went to 120mph and limited itself @ 3670rpm. Deff not the numbers I was looking for, but there's always next time. I do have a problem with the truck now. The ABS light keeps coming on even with the truck turned on/off. It comes on while driving down the road, and not touching the brake. I still finished in 3rd place 23hp from 2nd. TPD Had their Dodge make the 1st place pull, and blew the motor @ 86x hp. We could not go in the shop for about 10min with all the smoke!

Tough to get good numbers out of them when they cannot get a load on the motor. Oh well..

Group dyno days are mostly for fun. They are excellent social occassions.

But I always take the numbers with a grain of salt when the guys are overloaded hooking up trucks.

Russ what did Drake do to his engine? It was the white CR right? Im gonna call him and see what he did.

Sounded like 1/2 the rod was still connected to the crank to me. I've heard that sound many times @ 120+mph:D. But it's a Dodge, and they make funny sounds anyhow so who knows;). Here is what the shop looked like after he blew. The shop was vented and pretty clear all day.

I talked to Drake a little while ago turns out it was a cracked injector.

My first time on a dyno for for a dyno day as well. None of the numbers were right. It was a good time to meet all kinds of people and see different trucks.
