The ECM and Controller fluctuate the connection to ground to regulate the voltage to the FPR. So one wire will always have 12 Volts relative to ground and the other will be somewhere less than 6 Volts relative to the positive terminal of the battery.

Guessing a broken wire would give me the 0.0 v where t should be 12 v.trying to narrow down where to look before i start throwing parts at it.i will do the rp sensor to eliminate it.

Followed Fingers advice and spun 1 pump in the valley and truck ran normal so checked voltage on the 3 fpr controller plugs and found 1 dead one/no voltage, the second had voltage but was weak and the 3rd was normal. Loosened the nuts on the cp3 so the pully's would spin but not turn the pump,Looks like a faulty cp3 controller is the culprit.Truck is still running a little rough but only ran properly for a sec. Thanks for the help:hug:

The hot lead (purple wire) from the controller is a direct connection to the power source you hooked the Orange wire to. Check the fuse. You can check inside the fuse holder to see if you are getting 12 Volts to the controller.

Still having a prob with a dead 12v wire(yellow) fpr plug in the valley on the motor harness, checked bail conn and no power there either so a quick pm to My friend the Firminater and found that ecm c2 pin 77 is the power wire directly to the fpr and I remember on the first start up I had a class 2 loss of communication code but I cleared it like a dumb ass.Sound like another fried ecm?I did weld....a lot!
