destroyed s366????

just tryna pick you guys brains, over the winter i built a modified pulling tractor with a lb7 duramax power plant i was running an s366 with a t4 exhaust housing but non gated needless to say the second run on the tractor it destroyed the charger???? only reason i see is no waste gate but im open to all helpfull information you guys have also in deciding what i should try to run now. still running stock fueling as well. thanks guys

if your 100% stock fueling, i dont see how you coulda over spun it. seems strange to me

How much boost? I may be wrong but I would think a 400 series charger would work better for your application? S466 or larger.

100% stock fuel just a lift pump set to 12psi im confused myself as to y it broke it blew the compressor cover clean off it like it was making 100psi which with stock fuel is impossible? the last time i looked at the gauge before it broke it was around 45psi.

OEM wheel? Or was it a batmo wheel or something to that effect?

Probably a chinese knockoff, factory supplied turbos have to be burst tested IIRC.

well I am a little worried because that's what I am running but a billet and its a fleece

Fleece knows what they are doing. Dont you worry. I wouldn't run a turbo with a cheap, rubber-ended filter mounted directly on it though..
